I honestly bought this because I wanted more options without ordering a bunch of liners separately. The colors are actually really wearable and I already found four shades I keep reaching for.
These are surprisingly easy to use. I am not great at overlining but the pencils give me enough control that I can shape my cupid's bow without it looking obvious.
My favorite thing is that the set has both softer shades and deeper ones. I use the brown tones for everyday makeup and the wine shades when I want a more dramatic lip.
The pigment shows up much better than I expected. I can get a clean outline without going over the same spot five times, which is a big plus for me.
I have a lot of lipsticks that never had a matching liner. This set fixed that problem. There is pretty much a shade here for every nude, red and berry lipstick I own.
The included sharpener is such a small thing but I really appreciate it. A sharper tip makes such a difference when I am trying to get the corners of my lips clean.
I used one shade all over my lips instead of lipstick and it looked really pretty. Matte but still easy enough to blend before it fully sets.
Good set overall. A couple of the shades are pretty similar on my skin tone, but I still use most of them and the texture is smooth enough for everyday makeup.
This made my lipstick look so much more finished. I never realized how much a clean lip line changes the whole makeup look until I started using these.
For the price, getting twelve colors is really nice. I keep three in my makeup bag and leave the rest at home so I always have an option with me.
I like using a slightly darker liner with a lighter lipstick in the center. These blend together nicely and make my lips look more dimensional without being too much.
The darker colors are my favorites. Some of the lighter ones look a little different on me than they do in the swatches, but that is normal with lip products.
They are firm enough to keep the line precise but not so hard that they drag across my lips. That balance is exactly what I wanted.
I used one for a dinner out and my lip line still looked clean afterward. I did touch up my lipstick, but the liner itself held up really well.
The berry colors are gorgeous. I have been using them with clear gloss and it gives that defined lip look without needing a full lipstick.
Beginner friendly for sure. I usually mess up the corners when I line my lips, but having a freshly sharpened pencil made it way easier to control.
Nice color range and easy to blend. I wish the shade numbers were a little easier to see on the pencils, but the actual product works well.
I did a lip combo with the brown liner and a pink nude lipstick and got compliments the first time I wore it. Definitely keeping that combination.
I like that I can completely fill my lips with these when I want something simple. It gives me a matte base and then I just add a little gloss in the center.
Overall a really useful set. I probably will not use every single shade equally, but having all twelve makes it easy to experiment with combinations I normally would not buy individually.
